WHO I AM

Jessica Garten grew up in Pembroke, Ontario and completed her bachelor of science in nursing at St Lawrence College/ Laurentian University in Kingston. She has worked as a registered nurse on the orthopaedic unit at the Ottawa civic hospital for the past 7 years, while working on her master’s of nursing and nurse practitioner diploma. She graduated from the university of Ottawa in 2018 and is now working as a Nurse Practitioner alongside Dr. Ribchinsky. She also works at a family health team with a focus on women’s health, hypertension, and urgent care. She enjoys working with people of all ages, and specializes in providing preventative  health screening and holistic health care to patients.
